LOTS OF WALKING AND LIFTING

Compensation: $16.00 – $21 per hour to start
Hours: Approximately 20-40 total hours completed over the course of Monday – Friday.
Transportation: You will need reliable transportation to complete your route; we will reimburse at a rate of 30 cents per mile.
Experience: Landscaping/Lawn Care experience highly preferred but not required.
Location: Tucson and surrounding areas

Scoop Doggy Logs is one of the nation’s leading Dog Waste Removal Companies! We are seeking a friendly and responsible pooper scooper to drive from site to site (residential or commercial properties) to clean dog waste from each client’s yard. Tools, equipment, supplies, route, etc. provided. Uniform shirts issued but you will provide your own pants, coats, safe footwear, and a working smartphone.

We are looking for long-term committed employees. We will provide complete training. You just need to love dogs, provide positive client interaction, be responsible, punctual, and hardworking.

You will be working alone, with little direct supervision. And please realize that working outside means working in ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. Unless there is thunder and lightning (or other unsafe conditions), we will be working – rain, sun, hot, and cold. By nature of the job, you will be interacting, via tools & trash bags, with pet waste. Of course, there is some odor and natural associated elements that you will encounter.

Bonuses are available for good customer service, new client leads, and a job well done.

Requirements:

• Must love dogs of all kinds and not be afraid of large or barking dogs.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to work outside in all weather and lift 40 pounds.
• Must be a good, safe driver and not mind long routes.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow detailed instructions.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with clients and our office.
• Must be able to use a GPS.

A good sense of humor and pleasant disposition would suit you well in this job. It can be physically demanding and fast-paced, but we have a great team and lovely clients, and it is imperative for us to give them great customer service and a job well done.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $16.00 – $21.00 per hour
• Mileage reimbursement at 30 cents per mile
• Bonuses for good customer service, new client leads, and job performance
